This is my final title screen. The animation with the fire worked out better than I had originally thought (it started with just fire not moving at all). The title screen fades in well, as well as the options for starting the game. I also really like the fluidity of the icon mover. It was a very good idea to use that over a standard dot that moves with the options. The paintbrush stroke goes very well with the world environment I am going for.

The opening for your game is really cool and I like the fire that you added with the dragon. Something you could have doe better was that you could have made the fire disappear instead of reseeding back to the dragons mouth, because when you breath fire that doesn't really happen. But overall the work was good.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool opening screen since it gives the game this presence of a big adventure about to begin. The animations look really good and fluid, which really improves the overall quality. Great Job with the fire, looks better than something i could do right now!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors you used for the main screen, and it took a little time to actually view the title screen.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy looking at your title screen. It has a nice feel and looks really great with all the elements you have. It looks like it has a nice flow to it which is really good for a title screen.
ReplyDeletei agree that the statue, dragon and scroll elements work nicely with the background environment. yes the fire animation can be worked on but the rest comes together well.
